The 'Sonderabzeichen für das Niederkämpfen von Panzerkampfwagen usw durch Einzelkämpfer in Silber' (ie: Tank Destruction Badge or TDB in silver) on offer here is a very attractive and truly detailed Austrian post war example showing a nicely minimally blackened blackish silvered and magnetic tank badge mounted onto its post war piece of nicely 'inter-woven', silver black woven cloth braid. The piece still retains its original unaltered and functional prongs and/or metal (presumably zinc) based back plate but has its protective backing (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was most certainly once worn or (carefully) tunic-removed.
