This is an attractive and issued set, namely a War merit medal 1939 and award packet, comprising of the medal, the bright red white and black folded ribbon, medal ribbon and award packet. Both medal and ribbon are well preserved and without damage or fading to the ribbon. The packet is maker marked but the award is not, this was common for most war merit medals not to be stamped.
The packet has some creases and rips.
