Medal set: KvK 2. 'Klasse mit Schwerten' (War merit cross with swords) and issue packet

This is an attractive and issued set, namely a War merit cross 2nd class with swords and award packet, comprising of the cross, the bright red folded full length ribbon and award packet. Both medal and ribbon are well preserved and without damage or fading to the ribbon. The packet is the rarer smaller version but ripped across the top, done when being opened by the recipient but the award.

The paper packed is maker stamped but the cross is not, this was common for most KvK 2nd classes not to be stamped.
