The 'Sonderabzeichen für das Niederkämpfen von Panzerkampfwagen usw durch Einzelkämpfer in Silber' (ie. tank-destruction badge TDB in silver) on offer here is a very attractive and truly detailed Austrian post war example showing a nicely minimally blackened blackish silvered and magnetic tank badge mounted onto its post war piece of nicely 'inter-woven', silver black-woven cloth braid. The piece still retains its original unaltered and functional prongs and/or metal- (presumably zinc) based back plate but has lost its protective 'backing' over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was most certainly once worn or (carefully) tunic-removed.
