This is an attractive and unissued set, namely a War merit medal 1939 and award packet, comprising of the medal, the rarer orange white and black folded ribbon, medal, award packet and not always present beige tissue paper.

Both medal and ribbon are well preserved and without damage or fading to the ribbon. The packet is maker marked but the award is not, this was common for most war merit medals not to be stamped.

The packet has some creases but no rips or damage.
