German officer 2 piece buckle ('Ausgeh-Koppelschloss für Heer Offizier')

The attractive and I deem minimally used or worn - 'standard' pattern, aluminium based (dress ie 'Ausgeh' pattern) belt-buckle ( 'Ausgeh-Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres').
This is a truly nicely preserved example that comes in a fully untouched condition (as can be seen on the pictures).
The buckle, which is totally void of a makers designation ie. logo as more often found still retains all of its silver greyish toned finish but does show some minimal age, wear it has however never been cleaned and comes as found.
