This is an attractive and clearly issued and minimally worn example of the cloth version of a WH Heer or Waffen-SS) 'Deutsches Kreuz im Gold in Stoff' (cloth-based DKiG German Cross in gold) that comes worn and carefully tunic removed condition. The piece which is neatly hand-embroidered in various types of bullion has a typical field grey coloured woolen based background, signifying that it deals with a piece that was awarded to a Heer or Waffen-SS soldier. The piece shows just some age, wear and staining and misses most of its woolen based 'backing' (as can be seen on the pictures).

It does show a bright-golden-toned ('Buntmetall') wreath as to be expected. The piece shows a (partly present, white-inked) makers'-designation on its back as is more often encountered.
Simply an attractive and fully untouched example of a high class award, only second in grade to a Knights Cross or 'Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
