'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Silber' maker marked version- 100
£120.00
The truly attractive and fairly luxuriously styled silver-class wound-badge ( 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Silber') this being an example that is clearly maker marked on the catch set up (as always with pieces by this maker) with the makers designation: '100' signifying that it is a piece was produced by the 'Rudolf Wächtler & Lange' company. It is executed in neat and minimally shiny and somewhat minimal tarnished condition and does show some obvious usage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures).
The badge which is non-magnetic comes mounted with its fully functional thin-shaped pin which is fully functional and magnetic, also comes with its functional catch. The badge retains most of its silver toned finish both front and rear. This is simply an attractive and with certainty desirable early war period silver class wound badge that is priced according to its overall nice untouched worn condition.
