WW2 German Feldgendarmerie arm eagle

This is an attractive example of the standard issue pattern police Heeres arm eagle 'Ärmeladler' as was intended for usage by the staff of the notorious 'Feldgendarmerie-Truppen' and that comes moderately worn condition.
The piece is executed in bright-orange coloured linen and comes mounted onto a piece of field grey coloured wool as can be seen on the pictures. These neat arm eagles were specifically designed for usage by field police units and saw widespread usage throughout the war.
The eagle on offer here show truly great pronounced detail and comes in a moderate worn condition.
