An early- mid war-period Waffen-SS, NCO shoulder strap that shows the neat white ( 'weisser') coloured branch colour rayon type piping attached for Infantry troops. Has 2 matching silver coloured pips to the top.
This has been worn by an SS NCO holding the rank of an 'SS-Hauptscharführer der Infanterie Truppen (senior sergeant).
The strap shows the standard pattern, silver toned NCO-braid attached, the strap does show the moderate signs of having been used and worn as such.
The shoulder strap measures approx 11 cm in length.
