WW2 German Army Honour Roll Clasp (Ehrenblattspange)

A WW2 German Army Honour Roll Clasp (Ehrenblattspange) in excellent example of the type with 4 flat pins to the reverse, is retaining all original gold finish including the pins. Unissued and still on the pale brown felt lining from the inside of the presentation case.
The decoration contains a wreath measuring 24.63 mm across, formed of six bunches of oak leaves on each side. The width of the wreath is 5 mm at the widest point and tapered to the apex where two oak leaves meet tip-to-tip. The height of the badge from base to tip is 26 .19 mm, weighing 7 grams (including the ribbon). The swastika was superimposed upon the separately-made wreath and was soldered onto the wreath assembly.
