A World War II German medical officer tunic with the rank of Hauptmann (Captain) who typically held the specific medical rank of Stabsarzt (Staff Surgeon) in the Army (Heer). The uniform featured is a standard officer cut and quality M36 pattern, the insignia is distinguished by dark blue branch piping (Waffenfarbe) and specialized to medical personnel.
Shoulder Boards: Silver braided cords with the rank pips of a captain (Hauptmann), accompanied by a metal Aesculapian staff (the medical snake and rod device).
Breast Eagle: A very nice and well detailed precision-embroidered silver-wire or bullion national eagle (Wehrmachtadler) is worn above the right breast pocket.
The tunic comes with the WW1 EK1 and WW2 wound badge black, which are pinned to the left breast pocket also included is the original tunic mounted Wiederholungsspang sewn to the second button hole.
