An early Waffen-SS NCO "Der Führer" DF shoulder strap cipher.
The cipher is made from cupal and is part of a matching pair. These were used before and during the early war by NCO's of Regiment 2 "Der Führer" as part of the Waffen-SS Division "Das Reich".
The pins are present but have been replaced and have not been bent back. The price does reflect the repair to this cipher, but still a very rare pair of early ciphers in this style.
