Standard larger type Kriegsmarine 7x50 Binoculars (Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service, these larger 7x50 type binoculars were issued to specialized personnel, for example deck or coastal observers. The binoculars are in complete condition with black bakelite eyecups. The Binoculars are marked with a large Wehrmacht eagle above a capital 'M' (Marine) indicating naval issue. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'DF 7x50' and the unique number '1051' below a capital 'N' which indicates usage in the 'Nordsee' area. The optics are clear. The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap and rain-cover as found together. The binoculars are in clearly used condition showing some repainted areas, see photos.
