WW2 German Wehrmacht G98 rifle sling

This sling dates from around the 1934 period to the Wehrmacht armed with the G98 rifle.
The K98 was not introduced until 1935 then replacing its predecessor the G98.
The sling looks to have been period sewn together, probably due tonqar shortages of weapons and ancilieries. Please see images.
Is in good used and functional order.
