A very nice used Wehrmacht combat assault frame "Sturmgepack" maker marked and dated “1940” which is feint but there.
The A frame was used throughout the war by soldiers to carry the zeltbahn shelter quarter, M31 mess tin, the tent pole/peg pouch and an assault frame pouch for personel items.
