A early version Kavallerie cap skull, well made from aluminium/zinc and has both pins to the rear.
This was worn on all service and visor caps by members of the 5th/6th Kavallerie Reiter Regiments ( Cavalry Rider Regiments).
Has some surface wear and has not been cleaned.
