German Wehrmacht Officer Gebirgsjäger (Mountain troop)Schirmmütze visor cap

In a very nice condition a hard to find German Wehrmacht Officer Gebirgsjäger (Mountain troop)Schirmmütze visor cap, the visor cap comes in a very good mannequin head size and would say is about a 55/56 cm. It's complete with the all insignia that is original wartime mounted to the cap, the insignia is a bullion eagle and wreath/cocarde with small bullion 'eidelweiss' between the wreath and eagle. The cap top is made from quality doe skin field grey material and has a high front, comes with light traces of wear and age and has a few bits of moth but nothing major (see pictures), cap comes in the dark green colour of the Gebirgsjäger (Mountain troop) and is of a early war manufacture, the cap is not maker marked (see pictures) and does still have the sweat shield. The leather sweatband is not damaged and is still supple, the peak has a little damage to the left rear but doesn't detract from the cap at all. A very stunning cap in one of the most desirable visor cap piping colours which is very hard to find!
