Waffen-SS NCO (LSSAH) collar tab

A Waffen-SS NCO collar tab to a member of the 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler (LSSAH). The tab is made from silver bullion runes on a black wool background which has silver/black twist piping to the edge, this was only used by members of the LSSAH prior to the outbreak of WWII. The back has early buckram backing and the remains of the RZM paper label (see pictures). Has been removed from a tunic and shows no oxidisation or damage, very nice piece and desirable.
