Wehrmacht (Heer) cloth version of the EK 1 (Iron Cross 1st class). This is a rare and seldom seen version made in cloth which has all the characteristics of the metal version, the cross is embroidered in bullion frame and twisted wire around the edges and has a ribbed black centre (see pictures)...there is some of this missing. The cross was uniform removed at some point in time and shows some wear and patina but no damage to the bullion. See pictures as these form part of the description of this award.
